With half of the 12 botanicals used originating from Asia – this gin is a take on a classic dry with an Oriental twist. With fragrant citruses, sweet Chinese almonds and an assortment of mellow spices, these beautiful botanicals were inspired by a traditional Cantonese stir-fry concept known as the “balance of basic flavors”. Perfectly fused to create a spirit that is balanced, complex and sippable, this signature tipple encompasses our personal journey with gin and all the incredible people we met on our quest in becoming Hong Kong’s very first gin distillery.
Tasting Notes: Fragrant with citrus aromatics on the nose. Sipped – crisp notes of lemons and sweet tangerine peels first glide through the mouth and develop into a soft floral kick of pink berries. The sweet nuttiness of vanilla and Chinese almonds then linger in the palate before leading to a finishing flavor of mellow spices and Chinese liquorice roots.
Distilled with a mix of locally grown and Southeast Asian Calamansi, our Calamansi Gin was created to deliver a thirst-quenching experience amidst Hong Kong’s summer heat and humidity. A native fruit to Southeast Asia, the Calamansi’s crisp aroma, strategically paired with juniper berries and hint of spruce bring on an incredibly fresh and invigorating citrus experience. Representing the quintessential countryside of Hong Kong in the summertime, enjoy a punchy, flavor-packed gin, perfect for adventure-seeking palates craving a new sensation and experience.
Tasting Notes: Characteristically Calamansi on the nose — bright, crisp and zesty. When sipped, refreshing notes of citrus develop into a soft undertone of juniper berries, before finishing with a lingering flavor of spruce tips for a layered citrus flavor profile.
