Our Cheshire Gin is based on a London dry gin style but with modern twist of Hibiscus, lemon grass and blackberry leaves. Our botanical mix used in this award winning gin makes a fresh, smooth and easy drinking citrus gin with a berry fruit backbone.

Founded in 2016, head distiller John, a pub land lord at the time, has been producing award winning Gins under the Second Son name ever since.
We pride ourselves on creating gins using traditional distillation methods. Copper pot stills using the single shot method instead of modern column stills using gin baskets. We believe that by having all the botanicals in contact with the base spirit and not relying on vapour infusing that we get more of the flavours from the botanicals into our gins without adding unwanted flavours to our gins.
Using the traditional single shot distillation method capture more flavour from the botanicals. No cuts are made in our distillation processes, s giving our gins a uniquely bold flavour that encompasses all of the botanicals used, and wasting none of the flavour given up by the botanicals.
