Named for the strong Mediterranean wind that blows from the east, Llevant is Corpen’s debut gin and is distilled in small batches at our distillery in the Poblenou neighborhood of Barcelona.
Llevant’s award-winning flavor is defined by bold juniper, fresh orange peel, herbaceous eucalyptus and warming black pepper. Coriander, orris root and angelica root add earthy, floral and dry citrus notes to tickle your taste buds. The result is an incredibly smooth gin that brings the Mediterranean summer to your glass, no matter when or where you are enjoying it.
At 45% alcohol, Llevant is perfect for mixing and won’t get lost in the mix (or your mixer). Enjoy it in a G&T, a martini, a gin fizz or your favorite gin cocktail.
Named for the cold wind that blows from the northwest, Mestral is Corpen’s first seasonal gin, designed specifically for the winter and Christmas season. This limited-edition gin is distilled in small batches at our distillery in the Poblenou neighborhood of Barcelona. When it’s gone, it’s gone, until next winter.
Mestral is defined by winter spice, full of warming cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, ginger and more. After distillation, it is rested with dehydrated apples, cranberries and fresh lemon peel to give you a delightful blend of spice, tartness and a touch of sweet.
At 45% alcohol, Mestral is perfect for sipping alone or mixing and won’t get lost in the mix (or your mixer). Enjoy it in a G&T, a mule (a “Mestral Mule,” as we like to call it), a gin hot toddy or your favorite gin cocktail.
Corpen is a navy signal flag that indicates a change in direction.
Before moving to Barcelona, our founder was an officer in the U.S. Navy for eight years. Flag signals are nearly as old as ships themselves but are still used today by navies around the world. Ships traveling together raise the corpen flag to communicate an upcoming change in course to the rest of the group.
Craft Distilling Pioneers in Barcelona
Corpen is the first craft distillery in the city of Barcelona. We produce small-batch spirits with bold, botanical-forward flavors that offer a change from the sea of bland, forgettable products on the market.
Our distillery is in Poblenou, a growing arts and tech neighborhood, just minutes from downtown and five blocks from the beach.
Sustainability, from Stem to Stern
Sustainability is central for us. If you’ve spent any time on a boat or a beach lately, you know that plastic waste is now an inescapable part of the landscape. Around 8 million metric tons of plastic — the weight of nearly 90 aircraft carriers — end up in the ocean every year.
We decided early on that we wouldn’t contribute to this problem. When we designed our gin bottle, we intentionally left the plastic out:
• Our bottle cap is made of cork and wood (100% compostable)
• Our tamper seal is plant-based cellulose (100% compostable)
• Our bottle is composed of 100% recycled glass — in fact, its distinctive color comes from the mix of green and clear glass (100% recyclable)
Sustainable never tasted so good.
Wherever and whenever you encounter one of our products, we hope it offers that change in direction your day needs.
