Since the 17th century, sailors and travelers have gathered along the shores of St. Anna Bay in Willemstad, Curaçao, a vibrant channel serving as the island’s gateway since 1675. Above the bustling waters on the first floor of the historic Penha building, people came together over food, tall tales, and fine rum. Over generations, an old barkeeper perfected a secret rum recipe. Recently rediscovered deep in the dark vaults beneath the Penha building, this lost creation served as our inspiration to revive those glory days.
